Bayern Munich are working on a deal to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Arrizabalaga, who knows Thomas Tuchel from his time at Chelsea, is said to be keen on a reunion, with Bayern pushing for a loan deal that will likely include an option to buy.
The German champions are desperate to sign a new keeper this summer - having sold Yann Sommer to Inter Milan, whilst Manuel Neuer underwent a minor operation last Sunday to remove a piece of metal from his right fibula and is expected to be out for months.
This currently leaves veteran Sven Ulreich as the only senior goalkeeper available.
Bayern are confident in their pursuit for the 25-year-old Spaniard, with Ajax’s Gerónimo Rulli and Sevilla’s Yassine Bounou seen as backup options.
Bayern in fact had a verbal offer rejected for Bounou last month, with the Spanish side unwilling to let him go on loan.
