Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini doesn't hide the importance of his team's upcoming match against Inter, as three points could prove to be fundamental as the team looks to enter the Champions League zone.
"For us this becomes a test of maturity. If we come out of this type of match with important presentations, regardless of the result we'll earn something for the future of our league and it would be proof of significant strength. It's a compelling moment of the season with many squads close in our zone of the standings. It will be a prestigious match. We're coming out of a good moment and are taking on a strong team in a stadium that attracts a large crowd."
On striker Zapata missing the match due to disqualification: "Without Zapata the only certainty is that we're going to play with 11 players. I am not giving out the formation, there are alternative solutions. We did it also for Toloi that, without anyone realizing it, has been missing for 40 days. You feel the absence more up front because there isn't a substitute with the same characteristics as Duvan: Barrow is not it. Maybe tomorrow we'll find a new asset that could give us the same satisfaction."
