Agnelli:”FIFA completed their investigation of Pogba transfer & Juventus have been completely absolved”

While attending the annual meeting of Juventus’ shareholders the club’s president Andrea Agnelli gave updates on numerous topics including Paul Pogba’s transfer to Manchester United as well as the implementation of VAR in Serie A:”FIFA’s investigation of Pogba’s move concluded without impilications for Juventus, who were completely absolved. We all wanted to implement VAR, but in my opinion two things could have been done better: not letting federations implement it voluntarily, we shouldn’t have two leagues experiment it. We also should communicate the VAR’s protocols, at this moment there is confusion. There are simple concepts but they need to be explained well. The introduction of this instrument is very positive, i’m personally in favor. The episodes will always be controversial: you don’t win the league with VAR, you do so with training and work on the pitch”
