Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini spoke of the second game of the International Friendlies for the Italian national team, where Italy is preparing for the match against England at Wembley on Tuesday night. Pellegrini and his team-mates want to give Coach Luigi Di Biagio their first sense of joy and accomplishment after the 2-0 defeat against Argentina, the match in which the Roma midfielder played the last half hour: "We want to get up. Mental blocks? We do not have to think about it, we just have to work with the really strong players we have. Unfortunately we will have more time than the other teams, but we have to make the most of it and concentrate on what the national team should be. We are tired of always seeing the others win - admitted the class '96 - I remain convinced that this is a strong team and full of values".
There are many young people, who want to learn from the greats: "The most mature players are prepared for comparison and help us: the goal is to grow together. Di Biagio? He is loaded with energy, with a great desire to demonstrate: he was pleased by the attitude we showed in Manchester, especially in the second half".
Finally, closing on De Rossi and Buffon: "It is an honor to wear the shirt number of De Rossi. The criticism of Buffon? He is a true captain, who helps at any time giving you serenity. He is used to pressure".
