After experiences at Napoli and Udinese, Duvan Zapata took his career to another level at Atalanta. The Colombian striker discussed the reasons for his improvement in an interview with Tuttosport:"I had never done or seen a preparation that was so intense. There were times in which I thought to myself: no, I can't make it. Thirty seconds and then I started working again. Can we repeat last season? Absolutely yes: we work with just one objective, be protagonists. My goal? Constantly improve and score as many goals as possible. Gasperini is great, it's a pleasure to work with him, even though he makes you work very hard"
Zapata has attracted the interest of big clubs, but he's focused on just one thing:"I don't think about leaving Bergamo at all. In football, like in life, you don't know the future. But now I just think about giving my best to Atalanta. Racism? Luckily nothing has happened to me on and off the pitch".
