Watford have been looking for a holding midfielder to add to their team this transfer window, with Sampdoria's Morten Thorsby being a target for the Hornets.
However, in the last few hours the Premier League club have shifted their focus on Parma's Juraj Kucka, as also reported by Sky Sport's journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Watford have in fact agreed a deal to sign the Slovakian midfielder of the Serie B side. The details of the agreement will be settled in the coming days and then Kucka will start a new chapter of his career in the Premier League.
