Mauro Icardi and Inter separated but not permanently according to Wanda Nara, who gave a lengthy interview to Corriere della Sera about the Argentine striker’s recent transfer:”They are taking a break like a couple. Paris is beautiful, a team with many stars. It was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up. But at the end of the season we’ll see”
”Last January a club of a very high caliber came forward to buy Icardi, they offered a lot of money and a player whose name I won’t mention. A player who had already been in Milano but not at Inter. Mauro turned down the offer and then the club decided to remove the captain’s armband. It was all a strategy to sell Mauro in the summer: but why not remove it at end of the season?”
”Juventus? In the past he didn’t want to go there, he was Inter’s captain and he knew what it would have meant to fans. The relationship with Paratici is however excellent, we don’t know what will happen in the future”
