Vieira on Balotelli's absence from Nice training: "It's disrespectful, he ruined his two great years here"

Patrick Viera, the new coach of Nice, has spoken about Mario Balotelli in a new interview. The Italian did not arrive for training with the squad, and is most probably set to move to a new team, Marseille being the likely destination. Viera commented: "I spoke with him on the phone and we discussed the start of training. But he did not arrive, and that's a shame, because he has ruined the two great years he spent at Nice. Wanting to leave the club is not an issue, but to do it like this is a shame. Other players who knew that they were leaving, like Seri and Le Marchand showed up anyway, they worked and respected Nice and now will say goodbye to the club and the fans, and they will be thanked. That won't be the case for Mario, but we will look ahead to the future"
