After a big win in the derby against Padova, Joe Tacopina's ambitious project for Venezia is starting to come to fruition. The New York based attorney acquired the Italian club two years ago, and now they are very close to moving up to Italy's second division- Tacopina was a guest on Sky Sport's Calciomercato l'Originale where he was interviewed by our editor in chief Gianluca Di Marzio- he shared his enthusiasm for Pippo Inzaghi's work as a manager:"Extension? I want him here for life. He knows all the players in Lega Pro, he's an encyclopedia. This is a special season, incredible. The new stadium? This is the right time even for Italy. I'm certain of this. Two years ago I said "in two years we'll be in Serie B and now we're getting there"
Pippo Inzaghi was asked about the secret to his success:"The players deserve the credit, I brought a certain mentality, I always thought that teams that concede few goals win the league. The fact we won thirteen away matches is incredible and I'm happy for the players, the club and the fans"
