After a rollercoaster season and two managerial changes, Udinese managed to reach safety in the last few games of the Serie A campaign under Tudor's tenure. Despite that and the fact that the Croatian still has one year left on his contract, the club has already announced to him and his coaching staff that they won't be at Udinese next season.
The leading candidate to take Tudor's place is former Italy coach Cesare Prandelli, who would return to Serie A eight years after his last experience with Fiorentina. After the stint with the national team, Prandelli coached many foreign clubs such as Galatasaray, Valencia and Al Nasr, but now he seems set to return to Italy at Udinese.
