Udinese are looking to bring in a new defender after agreeing to send Samir on loan to Watford. The Friulani's first option to bolster Cioffi's back line is Armando Izzo.
The Torino defender however earns a very substantial salary of 1.8 million euro net a season which makes the deal more difficult.
A potential solution to the situation would be for Torino to contribute part of Izzo's salary, especially considering that so far this season, he has only appeared in four Serie A matches and 2 Coppa Italia games.
