The giallorossi's captain was a guest on Maurizio Costanzo's popular talk show in Italy in which he talked about his career:"I never thought of quitting but one day I considered leaving Roma to join Real Madrid. But I couldn't leave out of respect for the fans. I would keep Spalletti as manager, he's Roma's future. My favorite goal? The one that allowed Roma to win the scudetto. My biggest regret?
