Together again until 2023, are Heung-Min Son and Tottenham. The English club has formalized a renewal of the South Korean player's contract with a statement on their official website, shown below.
"We are delighted to announce that Heung-Min Son has signed a new contract with the Club, which will run until 2023."
"The South Korea forward, 26, has scored 47 goals in 140 appearances for us since signing from Bayer Leverkusen in August, 2015."
"A three-time winner of the South Korean Footballer of the Year award, Son overtook former Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-Sung to become the top Asian scorer in Premier League history with our only goal in a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace in November, 2017."
"Son became the first Asian player to win the Premier League's Player of the Month award in September, 2016 and followed it up with his second award in April, 2017."
"Since making his international debut against Syria in December, 2010, Son has gone on to score 23 times in 70 appearances for South Korea and scored twice at this summer’s World Cup including the second in a memorable 2-0 group stage win over Germany."
"Son will now join up with the squad ahead of our tour of the United States where we will compete in the International Champions Cup against AS Roma (San Diego), Barcelona (Los Angeles) and AC Milan (Minneapolis) and will also be available for our opening game of the Premier League season away at Newcastle United before travelling to Indonesia to represent South Korea at the Asian Games."
