Tottenham and winger Erik Lamela are interested in signing an extension. Negotiations have begun to reach a deal on a new contract for the 26-year-old Argentine, currently under discussion is the length, which could run through 2021 or 2022. Lamela could remain in the Premier League: after spending five seasons at Tottenham, a contract extension could be signed.
