Torino president Urbano Cairo spoke upon leaving the Serie A league offices, discussing his club's season and transfer market objectives: "We played up until the end, and unforntunately we were not able to make the Euorpa League, at times we were even in a Champions League position. We were a few points short, during the beginning of the season we lost out on a few decisions that hurt us."
Cairo also discussed the transfer market: "What do we need? We redeemed Ola Aina for a big fee, €10m, and we redeemed Ansaldi and Djidji. We redeemed all of the players who we had on loan: we only have our own players. On what we need, I want to keep my cards close to my chest: we have clear ideas on what we can do to reinforce ourselves, I will not say too much."
Finally a comment from Cairo on Belotti with the azzurri: "I watched, he played a great match: he had a wonderful assist for Barella and another for Chiesa. He was constantly involved, finding himself in spaces: he did what does best."
