Torino officially made Davide Vagnati their newest Sporting Director, with a presentation at the Stadio Olimpico alongside President Cairo. Below are Vagnati's words when speaking with the press:
"The president's words flatter me, it's an honor and responsibility to recover this role. I thank SPAL for the time spent together, other than for making my requests happy when I explained my desire to leave."
On the objectives: ""I operate in the right way, I am sure that we'll obtain great results. I worked a lot in these days to know the environment, staff and players. I really believe in both the organization and players that make up the Torino club. This week was a week of understanding. Starting again? We're ready to play if the decision must be made to return."
On Longo: "I spoke with all the players, making them understand the importance of wearing the Torino shirt. We need to put on our helmets and know that salvation is not for certain, we need points and you don't get them only for the names you have. Longo? I think we have the best manager possible, we have great confidence in him and the players."
