Torino, Petrachi confirms a contract renewal for Belotti: “We are very close to making an announcement. Clause only valid for clubs abroad? It will be there.”

Gianluca Petrachi, Torino’s sporting director, spoke to Sky Sport prior to the match against Chievo. The subject? Belotti’s contract renewal. As it was previously reported, the attacker and Torino have agreed upon the details and the announcement will be made official at the beginning of next week: “We have worked on Belotti’s renewal for a long time. We had to get certain things in order, but are very close to making an announcement. A foreign clause of 90 million euros? There will certainly be a buyout clause.” The clause will include a price tag that will probably be higher than that of Higuain’s, but lower than Icardi’s. It will be valid only for foreign clubs, and around 97 million euros.
