Torino offers extension to Ansaldi, but Atalanta is also interested in the player

Torino is in the process of negotiating a number of additions to their squad, but there is also an effort underway to extend the contract of Cristian Ansaldi. The club has offered a one-year extension with the option for a second season after 20 appearances made. There is however a pursuit being made by Atalanta for Ansaldi: Gasperini is targeting a reunion with the player he coached at Genoa. While Ansaldi waits to give an answer to Torino for the contract proposal, he is expecting an official offer from Atalanta to come.
