Earlier today Torino defender Lorenzo De Silvestri had surgery after suffering an injury in Sunday’s match against Cagliari. The granata issued a statement to provide an update on his condition:”Lorenzo De Silvestri had surgery this morning at the hospital in Chivasso with doctor Liberia Tubino to reduce the fracture in his nasal bones”. De Silvestri will be evaluated in the coming days before fully returning to Mazzarri’s squad.
