Today marks 13 years that Urbano Cairo has been at the helm of Torino. With Cairo from the beginning has been Antonio Comi, who played for the granata and became the team's general manager in 2011. Comi spoke with La Gazzetta dello Sport about his many experiences with the club.
"These years have been filled with continuous changes. How has Toro changed from 2005 until now? There's been exponential growth with many aspects of the club: from the first team to the youth squad to the personnel structure. This growth has also allowed us to reach important results, such as returning to Europa League with the first team and some key victories with the youth squad."
"The most beautiful memory from these years? Without a doubt the home win against Athletic Bilbao in Europa League, the first for an Italian team. It's a date I'll never forget: February 26, 2015. How would I define President Cairo? With two adjectives: brilliant and consistent."
