Torino had a great comeback against Inter at the San Siro over the weekend, coming back from 2-0 down to tie the match at 2-2. Their president, Urbano Cairo, spoke to Radio 24 about the match and their transfer market: "I saw a match that had two parts: in the first half I didn't like the Torino I saw, just like the coach, meanwhile in the second half with three people playing forward everything changed, creating a lot of chances and tying the match, almost getting the third goal. Sirigu's save? I thought that i made a smart decision to to not let him go and renew his contract (he laughs)."
"Objectives? I prefer to not make any declarations, having a campaign where important acquisitions were made gives you objectives, but I don't like to say them. Let them remain calm... having made an investment of 64 million with few sales, apart from Barreca who gave us the possibility to exchange for Meite, we had 12 million in sales."
"Ljajic? I purchased him two years ago and I like him a lot, he plays football that's easy on the eyes, fun and pleasing. If there is someone who likes him it's me. The squad has strengthened by bringing in Zaza and Soriano. Adem is an important player, I don't know if he'll accept playing 20' or being a starter every once in a while. If we were to let him go it would just to be to keep him from being unhappy. I would always hold onto Ljajic, but if he says to me 'I don't want to play 20 minutes a match and I want to be a starter,' I don't know if that can be possible. He is great but I don't know if he wants to start from the bench."
