Torino president Urbano Cairo spoke with Stampa regarding the market and his club's preparations for the upcoming season.

We moved for time and closed with Ricardo Rodriguez from Milan, Linetty from Sampdoria, and Vojvoda from Standard Liegi. I do not want to make the same mistake as last year, which was thinking of keeping everybody, even those who did not want to stay."
On hiring Giampaolo: "We chose him with our new Sporting Director Vagnati, even if I had tried for him in the past. He knows how to evaluate his players, favors the game and has everything to do well at Toro. Certainly this season our minimum objective is not salvation, but something more."
