This morning the surprise from Osasuna, now Alejandro Berenguer just reached Torino after a surprising move. The young Spanish winger from the class of '95 looked set to join Napoli but a late blitz by the granata changed his plans. Torino paid 6.5 million euros for the player and he is very excited to start his adventure in northern Italy with his new manager Mihajlovic. After he thanked his previous club and fans through a press conference and on Instagram (he declared, Thanks to you I lived out my dream, thank you!) he headed straight to Piemonte.
Tomorrow morning he will have his normal medical visits, and if all goes well he will sign the contract and then head to join his teammates at Torino's preseason summer camp. Mihaljovic can then welcome the reinforcement in attack that he will be pleased to receive. Here is the first image of the new Torino player, taken at the Caselle airport. The player can't wait to begin as he stated "I can't wait to start, I will give everything I have to this badge and shirt. Europe? I want to give my best."
