After a career spent winning under the shirts of European and mondial top clubs, Carlos Tevez has talked to Il Corriere della Sera commenting Inter's last acquisition in the transfer window, Lautaro Martinez: "What a player, he's really impressive. He's hungry, wicked and has technical skills. He reminds me of me, a few years ago. He's the best of the young Argentineans and can become even stronger. Inter have done a great deal getting him".

About the World Cup and the missed call-up: "I wanted to be there, but had a muscle injury and I've then understood I wouldn't make the cut. I feel I'm getting older, recovering needs now more time. Dybala and Higuain couldn't not be there, I expect a big tournament from them".

About Juventus and his retirement from football: "Juventus remains the strongest team in Italy, I've never believed Napoli could win. They have a unique winning mentality. Buffon to Boca isn't my idea, I understand Gigi and how much it's hard to leave football. At the end of 2019 I will though, I've made my mind. I'd like to become Boca's president but it's something I see far away in the future".
