It has now been made official: M'Baye Niang has transferred to France, joining Stade Rennais (simply known as Rennes). It is a new adventure in Ligue 1 for the French-Senegalese striker who moves to the French club on loan from Torino.
This is the official statement: "Stade Rennais F.C. is pleased to announce the arrival of French-Senegalese striker M'Baye Niang. The former Caen striker arrives on loan, with an option to buy, from Torino".
