Spalletti speaks after contract extension: "Modric? I am happy with the players I already have"

After receiving an extension until 2021, Luciano Spalletti reacted in an exclusive interview with Sky Sport about his thoughts on the new contract, as well as the last thoughts on the transfer window for the nerazzurri: "The relationship with the fans has always been important, but it has become something more. I always love to see their enthusiasm and the affect it gives to the team: the players owe it to them to give a little more. Will I be here for many years? When you don't get results it's the same situation: if you don't meet expectations then you must go, that's how it is. Did the fans ask me about Modric coming? They need to talk to the director, I know nothing about the transfer market. Do we still dream about it? I am already very pleased with what I have available, I have the players I wanted to have."
