With Spain set to face Albania and Israel in the World Cup qualifier group stage, Julen Lopetegui announced his squad selection. Three players were called up compared to the last international break including Illaremendi, Rodrigo Moreno and Jose' Callejon while Suso, David Villa and Vitolo weren't selected.
