It's not always easy to make the great leap, Andrij Shevchenko is the one saying it. Becoming coach after a great career isn't that natural: "The toughest thing is to make understand I'm now a coach and not a player anymore", has the Ukraine coach told Tuttosport.
"I feel 100% like a coach. I think, reason and behave in a different way than I used to. I'm focused on the group and have a lot more thoughts. I also sleep a lot less". His last coached game is the challenge against Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal which ended 0-0: "From what I've seen, Ronaldo seems like he hasn't changed at all. He seems a lot younger than his age, he doesn't play like a 34 year old".
"Juve already was strong before Ronaldo, but they lacked a fuoriclasse like him to win the almost impossible to win games. Now they could get to the end and win".
From Ronaldo, to Piatek, real surprise of this season: "He's proving to be a great forward and he's really important for Milan, but we have different characteristics, it's useless to draw comparisons as Piatek will take his own path. I really enjoy the way he feels the goal and could score from every position, in any possible way".
About the coaches: "Allegri? I really like the way he manages his squad and gets his players motivated. He's the perfect coach for champions. When you have great players you need to trust them and Max does it. Gattuso? He's brought enthusiasm back to his fans, he's well prepared. The team hadn't been fighting for a Champions League spot for a long time, Gattuso deserves credit and so do Maldini and Leonardo".
