Nikola Maksimovic and Nikola Milenkovic, longtime servants to their clubs in Serie A, Napoli and Fiorentina respectively, could both be finding new homes in different leagues this transfer window.
Maksimovic is currently free to find an agreement with a new squad, out of contract with Napoli since 30 June. Milenkovic still has a year left on his contract with Fiorentina, but the club has decided that the time has come to sell him rather than risk losing him on a Bosman deal.
For Maksimovic, once Inter's target on the market, he is now in agreement on wages with Olympique Marseille. But the French club must complete several sales before acquiring their target, they intend to open up space on the roster for the Serbian defender.
While waiting for l'OM, Maksimovic's entourage has registered interest from Sevilla, who are looking for a replacement at center back. They have asked for information on Milenkovic too, a player viable both for their present and future needs (as he is currently 23 years old).
West Ham are pushing to bring Fiorentina center back Nikola Milenkovic to the club, a player who has been targeted during the last several transfer windows. Last summer, West Ham offered €25 million, which was rejected by Fiorentina.
