Sassuolo are set to retain one of their key players. The neroverdi have reached an agreement with Francesco Caputo on a contract extension through 2023 with an option for 2024.
Sassuolo were determined to keep one of their most important and popular players following the departure of manager Roberto De Zerbi who is set to join Shakhtar. So far this season Caputo has scored 11 goals to go with 7 assists in 24 matches.
