Filip Djuricic, Sassuolo's attacking midfielder has talked to La Repubblica: "Someone in my place would have left football three years ago: I wasn't playing in Sampdoria after having been the most expensive signing for Benfica, 8\9 million euros. In my worst moment De Zerbi called me to join him to Benevento: I wasn't sure as in January they were already getting relegated, but if I hadn't found him I wouldn't be in Sassuolo now".
The Serbian continues: "He was a number 10, he understands me better than other people. I could have done better before as it depended on me, now I have some targets before finishing my career: being back to a Champions League club and then playing a big competition with Serbia, Euros or World Cup".
