Edoardo Goldaniga might just be the right fit for the role of Sassuolo's new centre-back. There have been recent contacts between the neroverdi and Palermo: the two teams are seemingly close to an agreement, which would see the defender leave Sicily after a permanence lasting five years. In fact, Goldaniga joined Palermo in 2012 and, after loan moves to Pisa and Perugia, he became a regular starter for the club. Last season, 28 matches and 2 goals for the Italian. Young, strong and still with margins for improvement, he may just be right man for Bucchi.
