Sassuolo, Carnevali:”Berardi & Politano have oppprtunities in big clubs, we want to develop Italian players”

After a season that saw a coaching change, Sassuolo were still able to avoid relegation in Serie A while also developing some exciting prospects. Sporting director Giovanni Carnevali assessed his team in an interview with Radio Anch’Io:”This season didn’t start in the best way. We struggled after Di Francesco’s departure. I believe Bucchi is an excellent manager even though he ran into some difficulties. We tried to change the team as little as possible, but manager Iachini did great work even on the player’s mentality. Our plan is to always have young Italian players on the squad and try to develop them. Berardi and Politano have excellent opportunities on big clubs
