Now it's official: Emiliano Viviano is the new goalie for Sporting Club of Portugal. The Portuguese club will be managed by Sinisa Mihajlovic next season and have announced on Twitter that Viviano has signed for two years with an option for third year. In his contract there is also a 45 million euro release clause.
Sampdoria has also confirmed the transfer, stating: "U.C. Sampdoria announces the sale on a permanent basis of the rights to Emiliano Viviano, who will head to Sporting Clube de Portugal. The keeper, who amassed 115 appearances in a Samp shirt, deserves our sincere thanks for all of his hard work and commitment shown in the four years he spent with us. Club President Massimo Ferrero and all of the club wish him the very best in his future career."
