Sampdoria is looking to strengthen their defense and is in discussions to acquire Simon Kjaer. The Danish defender has played 5 times in Serie A with Atalanta and may end his short experience with the nerazzurro club.
The blucerchiato club will meet with the player's agent next Tuesday to try and close the deal because Kjaer is the preferred option to improve Ranieri's defense.
