Sampdoria, Regini undergoes surgery on torn ACL

Badly injured in a friendly against Feralpisalò, Sampdoria defender Vasco Regini underwent surgery this morning at Villa Stuart for a torn ACL in his right knee. The operation was considered a success for the player, who will remain in recovery for the coming days. After spending the next few days at Villa Stuart, Regini will transfer back to Genoa to continue his long rehabilitation process.
