Sampdoria reach agreement with Apoel Nicosia for sale of goalkeeper Belec

After spending several years of his career in Italy, former Inter youth team goalkeeper Vid Belec is set to start a new chapter in Cyprus. Sampdoria have in fact reached an agreement over the sale of the 29-year-old goalkeeper to Apoel Nicosia, where he will be coached by Paolo Tramezzani. The two clubs have settled the last details in the past hours and now Belec is set to leave Italy after ten years to join a side that has the ambition to win the domestic title and that will play in the Europa League.
