Sampdoria president Ferrero:"I had a constructive dinner with Giampaolo"

The tension from the previous days appears to be over at Sampdoria. President Massimo Ferrero had a meeting over dinner with manager Marco Giampaolo on Thursday and the two were able to clarify the situation. This is what Ferrero had to say:"Last night's dinner was very constructive, something that doesn't happen often in football. I hired Giampaolo knowing that he likes to create on offense, he likes to see his teams playing well. The standings don't give a true reflection seen the episodes, I can say we are missing three points for sure. Do I expect changes? Yesterday I met a very intelligent and professional man, he'll make his evaluations and will try to prepare the team for the next four matches which are rather tough"
