Sampdoria & Palermo join race for Victor Ibarbo: the situation

After being linked to Chinese club Wuhan Zall, Victor Ibarbo could be returning to Italy. Cagliari still owns the Colombian striker who is currently on loan at Panathinaikos, recently Palermo expressed interest in acquiring him should Quaison depart: there have been some preliminary contacts between the Sicilian club's sporting director Nicola Salerno and Ibarbo's agent. Sampdoria is also a possible destination for Ibarbo should the fail to acquire Quaison from Palermo.
