After a very disappointing start to the season - with five defeats in six games - Sampdoria are looking to bounce back as soon as possible. The Blucerchiati, and especially president Ferrero, are evaluating the possibility to sign free agent midfielder Andrea Bertolacci in oder to bring in an extra reinforcement to Di Francesco's squad.
The negotiations are ongoing as the contacts between the parties involved have been positive so far. The former Milan midfielder, born in 1991, could rejoin Di Francesco after that the two worked together at Lecce during 2011/2012 season.
