The meeting between Claudio Ranieri and Sampdoria has ended and there is a willingness from the coach to accept the job.
Now it's up to the club to satisfy the coach in terms of the finances of the deal. The parties seem like they are close. After the meeting in Rome, the Samp directors will now dine with the coach's representatives to reach an economic agreement after the technical agreement was reached with him directly in the afternoon.
The conditions are there for an agreement as the deal's terms should be set as a two year deal tied to the club remaining in Serie A. Therefore, as of tomorrow morning Sampdoria should have resolved their managerial situation (assuming that Ranieri's economic requests are not too high). The eventual alternative should things not workout with Ranieri remains De Biasi, with Iachini outside of the running now.
