With the club suffering seven positive tests among players in the team, plus the team doctor, Sampdoria has announced further positive tests today, on the day that players resumed invididual training at Bogliasco. The club released an official statement:
"U.C. Sampdoria announces that during the course of exams performed on players, three new positive tests for Coronavirus-COVID-19 and one returned positive test have emerged. Currently asymptomatic, those testing positive have been placed in quaratine and will be continually monitored according to protocol."
