Midfielder Edgar Barreto will stay at Sampdoria until 2020. The Paraguayan and the club have in fact reached an agreement for a two-year extension of the current contract due to expire in June 2018. The deal has been reached between all the parties involved with Barreto that will continue to be an important part of Giampaolo's project after having played 90 games, with 5 goals and 2 assist in the Blucerchiati jersey.
