Sampdoria is looking to strengthen their defense. With the Kjaer idea archived, the blucerchiato club is trying to bring Lorenzo Tonelli back to Genova. The club awaits the okay from Napoli to release the defender and allow him to train with his new teammates tomorrow. The central defender wore the Sampdoria shirt last season, appearing 19 times and scoring once.
There is also movement on the offensive side. There's interest for Antonino La Gumina, class of '96 attacker from Empoli. He's appeared 16 times and scored 4 times in Serie B this year. He ended up in the crosshairs of the blucerchiato club after his departure from Palermo.
Now Corsi's club has had a revolution in attack with the arrivals of Ciciretti, La Mantia and Tutino. They want to try and improve in the standings and, therefore, La Gumina is a possible option.
