Liverpool legend Ian Rush has his doubts that the Premier League will begin again and finish. Klopp's squad was very close to bringing a title that Merseyside has been missing for 30 years before the coronavirus stopped everything. Rush shared his thoughts when speaking to Daily Mail.
"It's the best Liverpool team ever, without a doubt. But you cannot award a title now. I hope that we'll finish the season and we'll win it, but if that doesn't happen we must reason that the past is the past."
Liverpool was 25 points ahead of second place Man City in the standings, with 9 days away from the end of the season. To clinch the title, Liverpool would need just two more victories.
