Roma appear to have settled on a choice to replace Spinazzola on the left flank. The profile they have decided on is Matías Viña, Uruguayan left back from Palmeiras
Roma have made an offer of €10 million plus €2.5 million bonuses (tied to appearances as well as team objectives). 50% of the sale of the player is due to Nacional de Montevideo, who want to make more money on the sale, they consider the offer too low currently.
With the start of next week there is confindence that a deal can close, raising the fixed and bonus portions of the offer to the €13-15 million requested by Palmeiras. The player who is at the center of negotiations is sitting out the next league match with Atletico Goianiense, not by coincidence.
There is still work underway to bring a new left back to Roma and Josè Mourinho.
