Roma coach Luciano Spalletti has been talking ahead of Saturday night's big game at the Olimpico against Inter. He began with a medical update, stating that; "Manolas has been training this week despite his injury, Castan is only just back to training because he had the flu. Totti has a slight problem with his hip but he should be available."
With a lot of players only one booking away from missing the next game against Lazio, Spalletti was asked if he would consider this before making his selection. He replied; "We have a strong enough squad to be able to cover suspensions, you make your choices on a match by match basis and right now I'm only thinking about Inter."
On striker Edin Dzeko's selection he declared that; "We will take time to asses the situation and the team will be given a full work-out today, then I will decide." Finally the future of Francesco Totti, Spalletti explained; "He will be given time to speak with the president, the correct way is for them to meet and make the right decision."
