Eldor Shomurodov is set to become a new player for Roma with the Uzbekistani forward set to join his new teammates on retreat in Portugal. In these minutes he is signing the contract that will tie him to the giallorossi.
The former Genoa forward, after arriving in the capitol, underwent medicals, and then moved on to Faro where the club's retreat is being staged under coach Jose Mourinho.
The "Special One" welcomes his new striker, indicating Shomurodov to sporting director Tiago Pinto as the ideal profile to fill out his attacking depth.
The deal's fees have also been finalized: Roma will pay Genoa €17.5 million base plus €2.5 in bonuses, acquiring the player on loan with obligation to buy if cetain conditions are met. Genoa also retains 10% on the future resale of the player.
