At Roma this season there have been two new signings who have yet to see much action due to injuries, they are Patrik Schick and Rick Karsdorp. Schick made a 15 minute appearance against Hellas Verona while Karsdorp has yet to see the pitch. It finally seems that their time has come as Karsdorp has been training with the group since last week and has been called up by Di Francesco in the last two matches and he might even make his debut against Torino this weekend. He wouldn't start the match as he is not at full fitness, but we could see him come on as a sub. If he does appear on Sunday we could see him start against Crotone on Wednesday or by the Bologna match next weekend.
Schick is on a similar path has today he returned to training with the group and is hoping to be called up against Torino this weekend. Di Francesco anticipated this earlier in this week, stating "I am counting to have him for the Torino match." He has little training in his legs but to be called up would be an achievement and a good sign. He is a big signing for Roma, both economically and fundamentally, and it looks like the path will be a call up against Torino and time on the pitch against Crotone or Bologna.
