Roma continue to work on bolstering Fonseca’s squad. The giallorossi’s new sporting director Petrachi is focused on two Real Betis players, starting with Marc Bartra, today he met with the defender’s agents for lunch.
The former Borussia Dortmund defender earns a substantial salary which could be an obstacle, but today’s meeting was positive and the parties will continue to work on the deal- should the negotiation be successful, Dortmund would receive 20%. In addition to Bartra, Roma are also targeting Betis keeper Pau Lopez, the deal could also include the future resale of Sanabria. Pau Lopez has asked Betis to let him go, Roma have offered €25 million, while Betis are asking for 30 million.
